10. Eyeliner Will Be Everywhere

Eyeliners can make quite a difference in your appearance, as you can look more chic and elegant. Not only that, but it also elongates your eyes, giving you that popular cat-eye look. Personally, we love eyeliners as we don't think you should use them for formal occasions only.

Apply them every day if you wish, as you should enhance the only part of your face that we can see under the mask. This year, fun colors and glitters are in, and that includes eyeliners, too…Just play with quality makeup and enjoy it, as that's one of its primary purposes.

9. '80s Vibes are Trendy

The '80s are trending again, and you can even borrow some clothes from your mother! The past few years have all been about the' 90s, and that's fine, but expect a turn of events. No matter whether you enjoy it or not, you'll see it everywhere in 2021, including clothing and makeup.

In case you're searching for inspiration, just check it on Instagram, as you'll see examples first hand. Even if you feel that this particular decade has been over-the-top, we're sure there's a way you can implement some of it into your style. Probiotic skincare has been getting attention for years, but in 2021 it will finally be the primary concern. Have you heard of microbiome health, and do you know anything about it? Well, you should, as it represents an ecosystem of microorganisms on your skin.

In fact, billions of them create that balance that makes your epidermis healthy and beautiful. Finally, more and more products combine prebiotics and probiotics, securing that perfect stability for your skin. Look at it like this - just as yogurt keeps your gut healthy, these products keep your outer beauty in check.

7. Red All the Way

We haven't had the chance to visit our hairstylist during this pandemic as much as we wanted to. Whether we blame it on quarantine or something else but expect to see bold colors, starting with red. It's time for a change and to introduce some brightness into our lives, right?

Whether it's cinnamon brown, peach, or strawberry blonde, it definitely will be a nice twist to your whole look. Instead of appearing dull, these color palettes refreshingly frame your facial features, brightening your mood. So don't be afraid of it; experiment and consult your hairstylist about which option is the best for you.

6. Bangs Are In Again (Especially Curtain Bangs)

These times are uncertain, but you can always count that anything old will get a remake no matter what. At least it happens with fashion and beauty, as bangs are making a comeback once again. The '60s and '70s are trending, at least when it comes to our hairdos.

Curtain bangs are trendy; just look at celebrities like J.Lo, Gigi Hadid, and Hillary Duff… This hairstyle is versatile, as it flatters any face shape and goes with straight, wavy, short, or long hair. It also doesn't need much attention, as you can just air dry it and continue with your day.

5. Monochrome (Makeup and Clothes)

Another trend for this year is wearing monochromatic clothes and makeup; as simple as possible is the vibe we'll follow. Of course, you can experiment all you want with eyeliners, shimmery shadows, and highlighters, but you can also go minimalistic. Especially in these difficult times, you don't need a ton of makeup on your face, causing you problems.

In case you like a subtle look, you'll love this time-saving trend. Just combine your favorite lipstick shade with a blusher or an eyeshadow. The same thing goes for clothes, so pick a color you like, and combine your trousers with a T-shirt in the same tone.

4. Clean Skincare

Researches show that "clean" skincare brands are steadily gaining popularity. Of course, there are multiple reasons for it, as we've grown more conscious about our skin's health. Another reason we want good ingredients in our products is that we care about our planet. In other words, we don't want packaging or a formula that makes a carbon footprint.

Also, many people are turning to natural cosmetics because of the skin issues that appeared after wearing masks in pandemics. All this pressure from people has made companies become more transparent and go for more sustainable formulas.

3. Maskne Products and Care

This situation with covid-19 will continue for a while, so we'll continue wearing masks… Doctors are even talking about how face coverings will be normalized when the pandemic ends. In case this becomes our new reality, our face will definitely suffer.

That's why the accent is on skin protection to prevent irritations, blackheads, or acne… Don't worry, as the skincare industry is working hard to help you with all these issues! There are a lot of products you can choose from, including soothing face sprays and face masks containing zinc oxide

2. Hygiene On a High Level

If there's something we've learned during this pandemic is that hygiene is essential! Honestly, we're surprised that most people didn't know that already, as we live in the 21st century! Sanitizers and hand soaps aren't glamorous or beautiful, but there's an increased necessity for them.

Beauty brands are already competing between themselves on who's gonna make the more luxurious product. Not only that they smell better, but also the packaging becomes more attractive! Additionally, beauty companies are working really hard on making the formulations more suitable for your skin. In the end, we're going to continue using these products for some time, so we need something that won't be irritating.

1. Embrace Your Natural Self

This #1 trend on our list should always be the priority, meaning accepting ourselves with our flaws. That doesn't imply you should just let go and go out in dirty clothes, with your hair undone. On the contrary, love yourself just the way you are, but make the best of it!

For instance, accept your skin type, and all your pores and wrinkles, without being too critical. Yes, buy the products that suit you and take care of your physical appearance, but make the best of it! The same goes with your body or hair, enjoy yourself and let go of everything…

Finally, remember that trends come and go (though some are awful!), and you don't need to keep up with them. We're only here to inform you of them and recommend how and what you can do to stay in touch with the latest beauty news.
