Las Vegas, also called Sin City, or the City of Lights, is a favorite place to blow off steam and have fun. Surrounded by desert, it provides unique comfort to adrenaline rush seekers. There are countless entertaining things to do here besides its main attraction – casinos. So let's look at the top ten things to do in Vegas if you get tired of gambling!

10. Go to the Races

Las Vegas is a place to be if you love motorsports and Formula One

Las Vegas was low on the sports events map, but that has changed rapidly. Therefore, more teams decided to move there, including the famous NFL franchise, Raiders. However, the city also hosts drag races, NASCAR, and, occasionally, IndyCar events. Yet, things moved to another level with a Las Vegas Formula One Grand Prix!

This spectacular street circuit includes the famous Strip, where cars will drive flat for more than a mile (almost two kilometers). Furthermore, this will be the longest circuit in the F1 calendar, and no one wants to miss it. Thus, if you have any love for motorsport, this is one of the top destinations.

9. The Mob Museum

After all, the mob was a vital part of this city, so it deserved to have its museum

The Mob Museum basically deserves its place in Las Vegas. If you scratch a bit in the past, you'll see that the mob bosses ran the city back in the day, making it successful. So, why not pay respect to the essential people from the city's past in the Mob Museum?

National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement – its official name, represents the notable mobsters, murderers, and their victims. There's also a dedicated area for prohibition and rum runners, bootleggers, and moonshiners as the Mob Museum explores all the illegal activities throughout its history. Hence, this is an exciting place to spend a few hours.

8. Shopping

You can always go shopping in Vegas if you get tired of gambling

Las Vegas is a fun place, so it's not unusual for groups of men or women to book their getaway weekend here. However, if you are an obsessive gambler and wish to bring your significant other, don't be worried. Numerous designer shops and shopping malls offer more than just the usual stuff. Therefore, you can spend an entire day and not get bored.

You can find bargains at some outlet malls and good discounts on designer items. However, if you prefer extravagant shopping, we recommend The Forum Shops at Caesars, among many luxury malls.

7. Entertainment

There is a variety of shows and all sorts of entertainment in Vegas

There is a variety of entertainment in Las Vegas, as all the hotels and casinos host concerts. At the same time, many well-known musicians have regular shows here. There is also entertainment for adults, such as burlesque shows and cabaret. These are just some options, as everybody can find a fun thing to do here.

During the day, pool parties are very popular before the excitement moves to excellent nightclubs. Moreover, if you prefer quieter and more casual fun, spend an evening in one of many excellent restaurants, or have a cocktail in a bar.

6. Gondola Ride

If you haven't visited Venice, Italy, a gondola ride at the Venetian hotel will be an excellent substitute

You don't need to go to Venice, Italy, to experience a romantic gondola ride, as you can find it in the Venetian Resort right in the heart of Las Vegas. The resort offers a complete experience, like riding across the famous Grand Canal in Venice, passing under the bridges, and along St. Mark's Square. Your enjoyable journey will accompany a serenading gondolier, making it an even better experience.

Also, the Venetian offers indoor and outdoor rides. Moreover, you can get married on a gondola if you wish! After you enjoy the journey, shop in the Venetian's Grand Canal Shoppes mall, which houses the gondola rides.

5. Adrenaline Pumping

If the roulette spinning isn't exciting enough for you, then try jumping off the STRAT hotel

Reaching 550 feet (167 m) above the ground, the High Roller is one of the world's tallest observation wheels, easily beating the famous Wiener Riesenrad. This 30-minute ride will take you over the Strip, offering a 360-degree view of the city. Hence, this is the one thing to take advantage of if you're not afraid of heights.

Fly LINQ is for adrenaline junkies, as it's a zipline over Strip Boulevard. This ride will take you 1121 feet (341 m) above the ground and across the Strip at speeds up to 35 mph (56 km/h). There is so much other stuff to do, like driving a race car, swimming with the sharks (not in the old-fashioned mobster's way), or jumping from the Stratosphere Hotel - it's up to you!

4. Get Married

It's way easier to get married in Vegas than anywhere else

Vegas was known for its weddings on the spot, as it's way easier to get a marriage license here than in other states. Graceland Wedding Chapel was the first to perform Elvis-themed weddings. However, A Little White Wedding Chapel had the most impressive list of clients, including Frank Sinatra, Michael Jordan, Paul Newman, and many more.

One of the benefits is that you can get the annulment very fast if you change your mind. The wedding chapels can be found across the city, so you need to pick one and say, "I do."

3. The Bellagio

The Bellagio is one of the iconic Las Vegas hotels and casinos

The hotels in Las Vegas have upped the game in the accommodation business. These are more than just the hotels, as they offer the whole experience. This includes gambling shopping and gondola rides to the indoor adventure park.

However, one of the most famous and well-known hotels in Las Vegas is the Bellagio. It has it all, from the impressive fountains to the fine dining restaurants, excellent service to pamper all its guests, and one of the best casinos in town. Moreover, it hosts Cirque du Soleil Shows, which are pretty remarkable. If that's not enough, you can enjoy the pools and the excellent spa or spend an entire day shopping within the Bellagio.

2. Gamble

The main reason to visit Las Vegas is to try your luck at the casino

Everything in Las Vegas revolves around gambling and casinos. After all, it was built for gambling purposes. You'll feel like a king if you are a passionate player with money to spend, as the casinos will do everything to accommodate you and make you feel special.

In Vegas casinos, you need to name your game, and it would be easy to find. Each year, many people try their luck and roll the dice, hoping to win enormous amounts of money. While you may succeed, the house always wins in the end.

1. The Strip

The Strip - Las Vegas Boulevard is where all the action is

Famous 4.2 miles (6.75 km) long Las Vegas Boulevard, The Strip is one of the main attractions of Las Vegas. Along both sides are lined up casinos, hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, and much more. This is a very pulsating part of town where you can see replicas of Venice, Luxor, and Paris while walking down the Boulevard. You can also take the city's best view from the STRAT Hotel and Casino and its 1149-foot-tall (350 m) Observation Deck. Therefore, there are many things to do on the Las Vegas Strip.

Moreover, this is a place of famous casinos, such as Bellagio, Venetian, MGM Grand, Wynn, and many others. Therefore, this is the place to be and a must-see in Vegas!

These are just a few exciting things to do in Las Vegas, as this is the place to have fun. There is much more this city can offer outside our top ten list, but it's up to you to explore! Yet, remember to obey local laws, no matter how weird they are.
